How to Install The SMK
Six steps to convert your empty IV20 bottle. In the kit: silicone grommet · glass downstem · glass bowl.
Safety first. Drilling glass requires care. Wear safety glasses, keep the drill site wet at all times to prevent shattering, and work slowly on a stable, towel-lined surface. Adults 21+ only. Not responsible for improper handling.
Empty & clean
Finish and rinse your IV20 bottle. Dry it fully inside and out before you begin.
Mark the drill point
Mark a spot on the lower side of the bottle, a few inches above the base — that's where the glass downstem will seat.
Wet-drill the hole
Lay the bottle on a towel with a bowl of water on hand. Drill through your mark with a diamond bit at low speed, keeping the glass wet the whole time to stay cool.
Fit the grommet
Press the silicone grommet firmly into the drilled hole until it sits flush and sealed.
Insert downstem & bowl
Slide the green glass downstem into the grommet, then seat the green glass bowl into the top of the downstem.
Add water & set
Fill to just above the downstem, stand it on the base — your one-of-one piece is ready.
Care: Rinse the glass downstem and bowl with warm water after use; the silicone grommet wipes clean. Empty the water between uses. For adult use only, 21+. ⚠ Confirm exact care instructions before publishing.
